TWO
FOR THE ROAD = Something special happens when Henry Mancini does a musical score for a movie starring Audrey Hepburn. The fact is Miss Hepburn seems
to be Mancini's good-luck charm. It all began with "Breakfast at
Tiffanny's" for which he won two Oscars - one for the Best Original Score, the
other for Moon River as the Best Song. Their next film encounter was the intriguingly delightful
"Charade." Mancini's song Charade gave him
the Motion Picture Academy's nomination for the Best Song of 1963. And now the charm of Audrey Hepburn co-starring with Albert Finney, in
"Two for the Road" has once again inspired Henry Mancini to enticing melodies for another brilliant and perceptive score.
