I am an artist. Music is one way I create art. I grew up hearing Mancini music like most everyone. As an artist, I lived all these years feeling my surroundings, but having no real awareness what type of artist was developing inside me. 

Now, I live my live to attach myself to the piano to let my emotions flow into music. The highlights of my life have occurred during the passion of making music.

Late in the evening, Turner Classic Movies channel was on and Breakfast at Tiffany's started. I've heard of the movie for many years but had never seen it. I was mesmerized. The music melted my heart. Audrey melted my heart. I searched for Mancini material on the Internet and found his music had been touching something inside of me for as long as I can remember. My music was definitely impacted from Mancini's ability to capture the emotional state of the moment. I walked over to the piano and played a few songs.
