.:   ARMANDO TROVAJOLI - TRIBUTE AT SAN REMO 2007 TV  :.

On the 4th day (March 2, 2007) of the famous San Remo Festival in Italy, Armando Trovajoli received an homage and the award of the festival and the SIAE.   He was received by a standing audience who enjoyed the pieces performed including some video segments with Sophia Loren, Silvana Mangano and Rugantino musical comedy. The whole segment took about 18 minutes and it was the segment before the presentation of the results with the winners of the Young artists, which ended the show.

Broadcast description of this segment - Introduction by Pippo Baudo - A mixed chorus performing (3 men, 3 women) - Presentation by Pippo Baudo - Conversation of Trovajoli with Baudio - Videoclip of Sophia Loren (Trovajoli composed her a song before going to America) - Videoclip of Silvana Mangano (Trovajoli composed her a song in a movie, probably "Anna") - Trovajoli plays some themes on the piano (for about 3 minutes). When he finishes, Baudio kisses his hands - Videoclips of musical comedy "Rugantino" composed by Trovajoli also with the chorus onstage - Special Award "Cittá di Sanremo" from the Community and artistic direction of the Festival - Award from SIAE Societá Italiana for his artistic career
