Description:
The conventions of slapstick humour were set with the silent films of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin accompanied by silly sound effects of bird whistles, spring and drum bangs. Henry Mancini turned convention on its head for the Pink Panther movies and created a theme as memorable as James Bond although embodying all the inefficient pomposity of Inspector Clouseau himself. 
 
This episode will focus on how music can enhance a narrative to gain the best creative effect for the movie.
