The film composer has written the themes for close to 80 movies; has won five Oscars and is being considered for two Oscars this year (AI and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone).
He is also the composer and conductor of concert works. He talks with Edwards about his film career and his latest CD (released mid-February), Yo Yo Ma Plays the Music of John Williams.
