of some of the different categories in the music industry. Henry
Mancini announces the Best Record of the Year. The artists and songs nominated were: "It's Too Late" - Carole King, "Joy to the World" - Three Dog Night, "My Sweet Lord" - George Harrison, "Theme from Shaft" - Isaac Hayes and "You've Got a Friend" - James Taylor.
The winner was Carole King.
