- "The Sound of Burt Bacharach" won Emmys for Dwight Hemion and Peter Matz, the show's director and musical director, respectively.
- "Promises...Promises" was from the musical of the same title, which was based on the movie "The Apartment."
Bacharach wrote the music for "Promises...Promises" and the lyrics were done by Neil Simon.
