BROADWAY FIRST TAKE VOL. 2 CD :.
This
release includes the demo sessions for three broadway musicals
among them Promises, Promises.
The Bacharach tracks are not only interesting because they
were recorded on June 1968, six months before the opening of
the show, or the great performances of Rose Marie Jun (who
kept these recordings so we now have them) and Kenny Karen
accompanied by Burt on the piano but also because three of the
tracks did not make it to the stage.
These songs are: What Am I Doing Here?, Let's Pretend We're
Grown Up and Tick Tock Goes The Clock.
