In this second upload of Stargate SG-1 music for the Season 10, here is the two-part episode for The Quest. There are many scenes inside a cave in both episodes and this doesn’t translate well with the vocal removal option, so I decided to delete these cues and share the two episodes in one upload.

For a couple of days, I have been unable to connect to Mediafire website.
After checking in other blogs, other users are reporting the same situation. It seems that they might be blocking non-US users. I can’t confirm that but at least I can’t.

So this week’s upload is delivered to you thru Sendspace. I hope it is just a temporary situation with Mediafire because even though Sendspace is great, they delete files that are not downloaded for some time. Which Mediafire doesn’t do. So I don’t have to upload all the files all over again.

In brief, let’s wait this week to see how this situation evolves and if this doesn’t resolves, you can post your requests for re-uploads in each entry.

We start this month with a new topic: Stargate SG-1 music!
But instead of selecting from all the seasons, I have selected some episodes from Season 10 only this time. And so, with start with the last episode of the TV Series (not counting TV movies), which is “Unending”.

As we all know, although the theme music was based on David Arnold’s theme for the movie, Joel Goldsmith expanded the Stargate universe with his own compositions and to the aid on creating the episodic music we have Neal Acree.

The conclusion of the story that started with “The Silence in the Library”, with a very dramatic ending and quite heartbreaking for Donna and a mysterious companion for the Doctor. The music, of course was composed by Murray Gold. This ends this Doctor Who music special. Next month, Stargate SG-1 music!

This must one of the blogs with less comments in the web!
I know that the soundtrack community is not that big and that within it, people who like ripped music are just a few. But since I rip music that is not available elsewhere, I thought there would be some interest. OK, some topics have some comments but even those who like Doctor Who music faded away over time, even this new month devoted only to Doctor Who music have only one comment and that was a link-referral not an actual comment from a visitor. On top on that, I receive three or four SPAM messages per day, that I have to monitor and delete individually!

This process takes a lot of my time and of course, I enjoy doing it, but uploading one new soundtrack every week is difficult because I have to hunt for some interesting videos and purchase many of them and then begin the music extraction process.

Since there are very few comments nowadays, I have decided that starting on October, there will be only one or two new uploads per month instead of four as I have been doing until now. If there is a Special month, focusing on one composer or one special topic, then it would have three or four entries but that would be the exception.

That would give more time to devote to other sections of my website that I have been neglecting so far in this chase for the best music to share.

OK, that’s all I have to say for now. Maybe later, if there are more participation from the interested visitors to the blog I will upload more often. Who knows?

I am preparing some music rips from Stargate SG-1 Season 10 (the last as a TV series), starting with the last episode. I have selected some episodes to complete four entries but if you have a suggestion, share it with me.

For this time, I will cover only Season 10, but if you want the episodic music from other seasons, let me know and I will work on them for later. But please be specific on the episode selection and not those “I want all” suggestions!
